I have many of the MasterPiece coins, but have not been tempted to buy these silver mint editions intil now. New Zealand Mint has made these officially licensed coins in a special Transformers G1 1984 edition featuring a color Optimus Prime and G1 style box. This round pure silver coin features Optimus Prime in full colour, as seen in the 1984 series The Transformers. The Transformers logo and the year 1984 have been engraved and frosted, and a mirror-finish background makes the silver shine. To confirm the coin as legal tender, the obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth ll.
Officially licensed, this prime piece is held inside an acrylic capsule, to ensure easy transporting of your coin while protecting it from The Decepticons! It is then nestled in black velvet inside a high-quality box, that features The Transformers-themed imagery. Printed on the back is a Certificate of Authenticity and the coin’s unique number in the limited mintage of 3,000.
