Art lovers have a chance to see Ames-area artists in their studios this weekend.

The Ames Community Arts Council is holding its annual Ames Artists’ Studio Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Eighteen artists in Ames and the surrounding communities are opening the doors of their studios to the public during this free, self-guided event.

Patrons can choose to go to as many of the studios as they wish and visit them in any order. The artists’ original artwork will also be for sale during the tour.

The Ames Artists’ Studio Tour is headquartered at Little Woods: Herbs & Teas, 136 Main St., Ames. On Saturday and Sunday, Little Woods’ staff and ACAC volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.

ACAC shared the following information about the artists and their studios, organized according to geographic location.
